There is a difference, however, in the summer color and winter color you need to achieve. During the winter, a soft glow is better than the deep color you may wear in the summer. That deep color is often a mixture of several tanning sessions compounded one on top of another. Over time, the summer glow is earned and you look hotter than ever before.
There are several types of self tanner, but the lotion is the best on the market. The wipes tend to be easier, but they dry out so quickly that they can leave the skin looking streaked quite easily. If you want to take a bit longer to naturally tan, try mixing the self tanning lotion with your normal body lotion 50/50. This will help you to self tan slowly so no one will notice the change that an abrupt color difference will certainly ping off.
