In that bathroom beauty basket, the colors and products will often vary, but one product can always be found, the concealer. There are a few tricks to purchasing just the right concealer for your beauty needs and these are far more advanced than choosing the right product line name.

Most skin blemishes will appear darker than the skin tone. If the concealer matches the skin tone exactly, there is a chance the blemish will not be completely covered. Instead of choosing a concealer that perfectly matches your skin coloring, choose one that is a shade lighter and the blemish will blend right in with the rest of the skin on the face.
