Why am I Gaining Weight in All the Wrong Places?
March 7th 2009 03:52
Gaining weight is a part of beauty that many women (and men) think about every day of their lives. The decisions they make at restaurants and in the grocery store are often based on the calories they would like to stay under for a given day.
When the body loses and regains weight over time, the weight may not reappear in the same places it was lost from. This means a woman may lose weight in her back end and regain that weight in her stomach. Why does the body do this? Because it can!
The fat on the body is stored in fat cells and wherever that fat ends up is where the body can most easily store that fat. There is no way to spot reduce fat in a certain area and there is no way to gain weight in a given area. The best option is to eat right and exercise and the extra weight will come off as the body sees fit.
